Step 1 Make a grid of florists' tape or sellotape over the vase top. Tape round the rim to give it extra strength. Fill with water. |

Step 2
Cut foliage to length and strip lower leaves. Thread the foliage - here ladies' mantle - through the grid of tape. |

Step 3 Add in the flowers - here white sweet peas - one by one. Make sure that the taped rim is hidden |
