Ladybirds seem to appeal to everyone - children and adults. Here in Snapdragon's garden we are very keen on them as they eat up the greenflies that attack the sweet peas.

Everyone loves cake don't they?
Isobel is the cake maker in our team and brings in wonderful goodies each week. I daren't do too much baking myself as I have no self control when in the same room as a cake. When Nigella Lawson's Domestic Goddess book came out I cooked my way through it, eating everything as I went (wouldn't want to waste it on the children now).
The cake is made of cord and velvet with a tiny cherry on the top - each one is slightly different. You can get the background in blue, cream, pink and red. Just let me know which you would like.

Caravans began to creep into my work a couple of years ago when we bought an airstream trailer of eBay to use as my studio.
These quirky caravans are based on 1950s models and are in 1950s linen on a cord background.

We love chickens here in Snapdragon's garden. I sometimes wonder whether it is a pre-requisite of working here - Isobel has a some to supply fresh eggs for baking, Kelly comes from the best free range chicken farm in the area and Fiona, obviously feeling left out, asked if she could adopt one of the many broods we accidently produced here this summer.
