When you get home, unwrap the flowers,
recut the stems on a diagonal
and put into a Leave for at last 1/2 an hour in a cool, dark place before arranging. Make sure that your vase is squeaky clean and use flower food or a drop or two of bleach in the water. Flowers will last longest if they are kept somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight and away from ripening fruit . Don't leave flowers that are past their best in a vase with others - they will kill them off. |
