In 2000 Jane Lindsey left her job at the University of Glasgow, retrained in horticulture and began to grow cut flowers, selling them at farmers markets in Glasgow and arranging them for weddings and other events. In 2003 she moved with her family to Drymen and Snapdragon was born - the paddock behind the house has now been transformed into a cutting garden full of unusual cut flowers and herbs. From 2004 Jane has been producing ranges of textile home and garden accessories as well as commissioning a selection of toiletries inspired by the cutting garden. These are available to buy by mail order and from our shop. |
